The rosemary plant is an emblem of trust and constancy.  Rosemary should be avoided by epileptics, hypertensives and during pregnancy. It blends with Lemon and Lemongrass, Basil, Juniper, Bergamot and Cedar wood. It has a strong green forest-like aroma with slight mint undertones. It can overwhelm a blend and should be used sparingly. The dry-out odor is herbaceous.

Rosemary can raise blood pressure if used often daily or made into a strong blend. It  contains a property similar to aspirin and not recommended for those with a bleeding disorder.
